Stephanie Favilli Bodolay, Florida Surrogacy Lawyer

Stephanie01 - Version 2
Stephanie’s parents, Dr. Luis and Martha Favilli, moved from Nicaragua, Central America to Houston, Texas where she was born. Soon after, they moved to Lakeland, Florida. Stephanie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Florida with a minor in Spanish and later attended Stetson University College of Law, receiving her Juris Doctor degree in May 2013. She currently lives with her husband, Ryan Bodolay, in the Tampa Bay area.

At Stetson, Stephanie served as an Ambassador, Vice President for the Stetson Hispanic Bar Association, public relations chair for the student section of the ABA at Stetson, and as a student liaison for the Communications Forum for the American Bar Association. Her volunteer work includes translating legal forms including a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy form for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida and pro se form packets for the Tampa Bay Courthouse. Stephanie also volunteered at the Bay Area Legal Services Volunteer Lawyers Program doing pro se client intake where she assisted clients in completing court approved forms in both Spanish and English.

Stephanie is a member of the Assisted Reproductive Technology Section of the American Bar Association, Hillsborough Association of Women Lawyers, the Lakeland Bar Association, the Florida Adoption Council, and Communications Committee for the Tampa Hispanic Bar Association. Her internship experience includes personal injury and, more recently, assisted reproductive technology. Stephanie joined The Law Offices of Robert Terenzio as a legal assistant in September of 2011 and has been there ever since. At Stetson, Stephanie wrote a seminar paper in embryo donation and her interest in assisted reproductive technology only grew. Her academic interests in contract and constitutional law, coupled with her passion for family, culture, travel, and medicine, has led her to pursue this area of law in the hopes of fulfilling someone’s dream of having a family.
